      Pomelo is a large citrus fruit in Asia. You may not know this, but you almost certainly ate grapefruit, a close relative. The pulp of the fruit is green or yellow, and the skin can be thick and opaque. Pomelos are about the size of a watermelon and can be quite large, sometimes a little larger. Teardrop-shaped and grape-like, but slightly sweet. Pomelo contains many nutrients for a healthy diet, including antioxidants with anti-cancer properties.

Benefits :

Helps Digest Food :
     Pomelo contains 6 grams of fiber per serving. Most people need about 25 grams per day, so eating pomelo can account for about a quarter of your daily fiber intake. Filling with fiber allows the fiber to move stool within your system, ultimately preventing constipation and helping you digest food. Fiber also uses a nutrient source from these bacteria to grow healthy gut bacteria, fiber in fruits like those found in grapes, and other health factors like improving bone density and staying healthy. The risk of disease is reduced.

Helps To Maintain Weight :
     The protein and fiber in pomelo help keep you full longer. This means reducing calorie cravings and ultimately consuming fewer calories. Pomelo is also relatively low in calories per serving. When you want to lose weight, foods like pomelo can help you increase your food intake without increasing your calorie intake.

Rich In Antioxidants :
     Free radicals can damage cells, especially if they are abundant around them. Antioxidants help prevent this damage and reduce the risk of cancer. Pomelo is rich in many other antioxidants and vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant. Naringin and Naringin are the two main antioxidants in grapes and are commonly found in citrus fruits. The antioxidant lycopene is also found in the pomelo fruit. Lycopene has anti-inflammatory properties and is also commonly found in tomatoes.

Boosts Immune System :
     Eating half of a large pomelo will meet the daily vitamin C needs of a healthy adult. Vitamin C not only improves iron absorption and improves blood circulation, but also boosts the immunity of white blood cells in the system. Vitamin C is also essential for the growth and development of all body tissues and is an important antioxidant for detoxification.

Maintaining Heart Health :

     Thanks to its high intrinsic potassium content, pomelo helps maintain normal blood pressure. It also improves myocardial activity, lowers bad cholesterol and naturally increases good HDL cholesterol. Pomelo is very useful in preventing heart attacks and strokes, and contributes to a healthy and long life.

Relieves Muscle Cramps :

     Pomelo contains magnesium, a mineral essential for optimal muscle function. The high magnesium content of grapes makes it an ideal choice for relieving muscle aches and cramps. Also, if the muscles in your arms or legs are tense after strenuous exercise, eating pomelo can provide quick relief from pain and discomfort.

Bone Strengthening :
     The calcium in pomelo is absorbed into the body's bones, helping to maintain optimal bone density for daily work and flexible, uninterrupted activity. The very high potassium content of grapes promotes bone health by reducing the absorption of mineral salts. It depends on the cells and tissues of the body.

Fighting Urinary Tract Infection(UTI) :
     Pomelo has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce bladder inflammation and provide high amounts of vitamin C, which is more common in women than men. Its antioxidant properties also help rid the body of harmful free radicals and harmful bacteria. This, in turn, prevents oxidation of healthy cells in the organs of the excretory system, adequately removes unwanted waste and food debris from the body and prevents them from accumulating in the system.

Helps Cure Anemia :

     An important function of the human body is to improve the absorption of iron from food. Iron deficiency causes anemia. In anemia, there are not enough red blood cells to carry nutrients and oxygen to every cell and tissue in the body. When you eat grapes, the food absorbs a large amount of iron into your body, which creates red blood cells and circulates the blood.
